Workers huts

I painted this painting in the late evening with Azmi. We had been searching for the right subject since 4 pm and then we found this right spot and immeadiately knew this was the one we were looking for. I painted this painting quite quickly so as not to lose the light and the feeling of awe .

The Old wooden shops

The location of this painting is Brisu,Melaka . It is a small town in a secluded village which has a calm, quiet surrouding. I went to this place with my artist friend Azmi who is also paints plein air. The two girs in the painting were the real persons who were sporting enough to stand still after being told to do so. The people there were friendly and I wish to paint there in the near future.

Plein air artist at work

Being in a location ,to paint the scenery, has become part of my diciplines as an artist. The feelings being there and immerse in the process of selecting, mixing, composing and painting is
quite difficult to put it in words. It is not an easy task and quite challenging, It often brings forth my true sense of explorer as if I am the only one who aware the beauty of my surrounding and dictate it in color instead of words. It is a priviledge being a plein air artist. Thanks ALL MIGHTY.
